Windows no longer offers a selectable window material; every channel (Stable, Beta, Next) now opens an ordinary opaque window there. The Mica option, its build gate, backdrop plumbing, CSS, wizard copy and settings selector are gone, and the Desktop settings group is hidden when a platform has neither window modes nor a material choice. Following the Acrylic removal, a persisted `windowsMaterial: mica` (settings document, imported copy, profile patch layer, preferences or an older renderer URL) stays readable and fails closed to `off`, so existing profiles keep booting without a migration. Next mounts Beta's settings sources directly, so the three channels change together.
