json.dump appears to add extraneous spaces before newline characters. By specifying the separators option, we can remove these whitespaces, reducing the diff noise. The package exports an array of strings. Each string is an identifier for a license exception under the Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) software license metadata standard.
