json.dump appears to add extraneous spaces before newline characters. By specifying the separators option, we can remove these whitespaces, reducing the diff noise. Is this an arguments object? It's a harder question than you think.

Caveats
If you have modified an actual arguments object by giving it a Symbol.toStringTag property, then this package will return false.
